Kansas Conceal Carry Handgun Course

The Kansas State AG office requires that all persons apply for the Kansas CCH permit attend the approved 8 hour class. This course covers state laws and regulations, firearms safety, handling, and application process. Equipment: 50 rounds of factory ammunition, handgun, holster if available but not required, eye and ear protection (provided if you do not have any), Kansas drivers license or ID. Upon completion you will receive all state mandated documents for applying for the KS CCH permit.

At the SSS&T believe that all persons who legally own a firearm should be properly trained in real world encounters. We focus on mastering the basics, building that foundation, and then applying it to tactics that maximize winning lethal force encounters. Based on our philosophy, SSS&T is able to provide cost effective, real-world, up to date training. If you are a concerned with home/personal protection, we have classes geared to your needs and environment at a reasonable cost.

Basic Tactical Handgun Level 1 (4 hour)

FIRST SHOOTER FUNDAMENTALS: This course is designed for the new shooter or someone with limited exposure and training with handguns. The topics discussed and trained are:

Safety - The Four Core Safety Rules and How They Apply to You
Nomenclature
Care and Cleaning - Maintenance of the Pistol or Revolver
The Seven Fundamentals of Shooting
Firearms Handling - Loading and Unloading
This instruction is designed to go slow, insuring the shooter is well grounded in the fundamentals.

CONCEAL CARRY TACTICAL HANDGUN LEVEL 2 (6 hour)

Do You Know How To Operate Your Handgun Effectively? Want To Take It To The Next Level? In Conceal Carry Tactical Handgun Level 2 You Will Learn More Than Just The Basics Of Marksmanship. Students In This Course Will:

Loading and Unloading - Speed or Emergency Reloading - Tactical Reloading

Advanced Tactical Handgun Level 3 (6 hours)

(Level 2 on Steroids! Build upon Conceal Carry Tactical handgun Level 2, PLUS MORE!) Completion of Level 2 course required before attending Advanced Tactical Handgun Level 3

In addition to what you learned in Level 2, you will learn the following:

Shooting with the Support Side Hand
Positional Shooting from Kneeling and Prone
Use of Cover and Concealment
Slicing the Pie Techniques and Cornering
Shooting while Moving
6-8 Hour Course. Same requirements as Level 2 Course.

Home Defense

This class is custom designed for the family. Class starts on range with live fire drills then moves to the family's home for airsoft force on force drills.

YOUTH FIREARMS SAFETY AND MARKSMANSHIP

This course is designed for someone with limited exposure and training with firearms. This class is appropriate for children of all ages (depending on individual maturity). Children under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian and depending on the child, guardian may have to be present during the course.
